Inferno is a talented stallion who was born in France. He was exported to Holland and went through the 100 Day Test in 1993 at Ermelo where he was 4th out of 29 stallions. Inferno/Corrado II was imported to the US in '99. He was campaigned with great results in the Int'l. Grand Prix show circuit under Hap Hansen. Winning and placing at Spruce Meadows "Master; LA Int'l World Cup Qualifier; Indo HITS Grand Prix; and others.

Inferno's trot is roomy and rhythmic, his canter stride is large, his temperament is straight forward, reliable and consistent. Inferno is a powerful iumper, with clever technique and rich scope.



His character, stable behavior and training report earned him scores of 9 at his Dutch performance test. His offspring are placed champions in the jumper and dressage arena. This stallion is talented enough to win at the top levels of show jumping and still soft, straight forward and supple enough for an amateur rider.



Now retired from the Grand Prix ring, he will be competed in 2006 with amateur/owner April Wayenberg.

The lineage of Inferno , imported from France to Holland, then to California in 1999, is dominated by genetic jumping material. On his sire's side we first find Qredo de Paulstra, a much valued State Stud Stallion from the Paulstra lineage. His dam Celia de Paulstra and the Champion showjumper 5yr.old mare Onbline de Paulstra, who in turn was responsible for Belgium approved Arthur de Paulstra. Qredo, was introduced to the sport by International show jumper Xavier Leredde. Qredo's sire Galoubet and his half brother Jalisco are considered the successors of Alme Z, the "Chief de Race Mondial''. Galoubet was French Champion as a 5 yr.old and claimed the same title again 2 years later, in 1979. He claimed 19 victories at international showjumpers and approved stallions, such as Quick Star (Meredith Michaels) and Quatobet du Rouet

Inferno's ancestry on his dam side is equally as impressive. Toscane de Flingy is a full sister of the approved stallion Neroli, offering his service to Belgium, and Magicien, French State Stud property. The sire of latter three horses is Heros de Cavron, who proved an excellent jumping progenitor through progeny such as Untold Story, ridden by Beezie Patton, and Prince d'Inconville, the latter being an approved stallion featuring in the international jumping circuit under Herve Godignon. This stallion, meanwhile famous as "Le Prince", won the Grand Prix of Rome, of Florence and the 2nd World Cup Qualifier in Dortmund. Inferno's pedigree further features the mare Ophalye, daughter of the famous Amour du Bois, also sire of the French progenitor and performance sire of the french progenitor and performance sire grand veneur. Grand Veneur supplied variuos winners, international showjumpers and approved sons, such as Tot de Semilly.
