"Ulla" 2001, 16.0h Bay Dutch Warmblood (KWPN). Ulla is a young mare with a supreme pedigree and we are honored to be able to have her join our broodmare band for 2005.

She is by Zeoliet, who was a great success at the performance test in Ermelo with 9,2 for dressage, a 9 for jumping under the saddle and 9,5 for free jumping. Zeoliet has been successful in the National Stallion Competition and he went extraordinarily well in ZZ-dressage with Roger Schulkens. The offspring of Zeoliet seem to have inherited his magnificent qualities. Zeoliet is not only high on the dressage index but also in the jumping index. In 1995 Zeoliet was in 12th place on the World Breeding Ranking for Showjumping sires and in 2001 Zeoliet is represented with 6 international jumpers in the World Breeding Ranking. Zeoliet is also famous for producing numerous dressage horses at Grand Prix level and Prix St.Georges level. Zeoliet is by the very modern breeding stallion Ramiro, which has earned the tag Euro-stallion.

Ulla is out of Orchidee who is by Olympic Ferro. He was the Dutch sensation at Aachen, competed at the 2000 Olympics and assisted his team in achieving a team silver medal, with an individual score of 74.92%. As a three-year-old he was champion of his performance test at Ermelo. His sire Ulft, is a son of the great Le Mexico, who is listed 10th on the jumping index with 142 points. Le Mexico carries Furioso xx blood, which brings value to any pedigree. Ferro's dam, Brenda, is a daughter of the Holsteiner, Farn, who is listed sixth on the jumping index with 146 points. Farn's son Nimmerdor, is listed second on the jumping index with 155 points. Olympic Ferro sired the champion of the three-year-old stallions at s'Hertogenbosch i n 2000, and has nine young stallions in the second round there in 2001. The champion three year old mare at Ermelo in 2000 was an Olympic Ferro daughter. Olympic Ferro is #1 on the BN World Stallion Rankings for dressage and is the top stallion and pride of the Netherlands, affectionately known as the "Black Pearl." In 2002 Olympic Ferro once again had the highest scores on the Dutch Olympic team.
